Post Old dos games

I have tons of old dos games that i cant find the manual for that have copyright protection that requires the manual. Many of these companies dont exist or dont support the games anymore. Does anyone know of any places that help remove the copyright protection from these old games? Im not trying to infringe on copyright...my games are legit, but i wanna play them and i cant with their copyright protection hehe.

I know the feeling, I have a few, but what you want is illegal, we can't do much for you.

Try looking through abandonware sites, you might find some that have manuals for a few. The legality of abandonware is questionable, so I won't post any links, just point you in that direction.

Some of the gaming sites might also have info on older games by chance...

Programs are out there to bypass the copy protection, but finding them will have to be your dilemma, we can't post links here, due to legalities.

Sorry if I seem uncooperative, but I have to watch out for things like this, if it's illegal, we can't help.

some of the old DOS games also need to run in acertain way (copy the main game data onto your hard drive but use a boot disk) Some of them also had the manuals in text files on the disks or at least help files and some of the companies that made them might have merged so check out the sites of someone that makes similar games now. You know Commander Keen was made by the same people that make Quake (not quite the same publisher but you get the idea). So you might have to do an ftp search or look for some old ("antique") computer fan sites. (there are several apple ll sites that I can't remember there names now)
