IE problem

I'm going nuts. One site I use alot (paypal) will not connect. I have installed XP, but have no problem I know of, going anywhere else. I'm on a cable connection (if that matters), but I have reached the site from a friends PC. I even reinstalled IE6.This is driving me crazy. If anyone has any idea what's going on I would appreciate the advice, before I lose it.

IE 6 is part of XP so there is no uninstalling it.

When you go to pay-pal what do you have cookies set for? this is a secure site so you will have to have cookies Enabled.

Are you getting any Errors or just can't connect

You could try a different browser such as Opera or Mozilla, you might never go back to IE.

Might be the DNS Have you tried a Ping and or tracert? have you tried dropping the connection and then re-setting? There should be a repair connection option in your network connection "go into control panel right click on connection and click repair"

I'm kind of at a loss if that is the only site you cannot connect to , Have you called your ISP and see if it is on there end?

list the exact URL of the site that you can't get to.

are you running any pop-up ad blockers??

any proxies??

had you gotten in any "dissagreements" with that sites admin??

lastly, is your account expired or active??
