W2K Pro Bugcheck "Driver Power State Failure"

I just installed W2K Pro > installed most of the updates and many programs > all was well > now I'm getting the "Driver Power State Failure" message every time I shut down. Below is the info from the Event Viewer.
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x00000100, 0x81fe1660, 0x8205e028, 0x820b5590). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini081402-09.dmp.
I did not install SP3 as that was what made me install W2K from scratch again.(SP2-yes).Is there a way with the above info to find out what exactly is causing this problem? I do have my computer hooked up to an APC UPS.None of my recent program installs have anything to do with power mgmt.
One question I have is could the Com+ update have anything to do with this? This is the first time I've installed it.
Dazed and confused > looking for help!!

Solution Found !!

Turns out the problem has to do with the Windows Media Player 7.1 and the Adaptec CD burning Plugin. To solve the problem > go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > select Windows Media Player > a box will come up asking you what you want to uninstall> select the Adaptec plugin > reboot to finish the uninstall.Check your settings in the Windows Media Player about automatic updating/upgrades as it will try to install the plugin again. No more "Driver Power State Failure" messages> have shut down/rebooted many times without a problem.
