you should clean out your cookies (temp internet) folders by other clicking on the big blue "E" on your desk top or when you have a your home page opened go to tools/internet options and delete cookies and clear history, hope it helps.

others will come.

Which OS is installed and have you recently done any major upgrades?

Is it just webpages generally (or specific webpages) that are slow or are other applications slowing-up too?

Also how much free HDD space do you have and is Windows managing your virtual memory?

As mentioned, first do a basic clean-up of unnecessary Temp Files/Folders and Temporary Internet Files and empty your recycle bin and then also run ScanReg and Defrag, especially if they have not been run for some time.

Post back and let us know if these measures have helped or not, since the next stage will be things like your modem and drivers etc.

Pleas post back to this thread and don't open another one on this topic, so that everything related to your problem can be kept together.

Go to "Start>Run" and type "dxdiag" in the "Open" window and click "ok".
It will test "DirectX" for you and if it's not up-to-date you can download the latest.
That may help and can do nothing but good.
If you can get it to download anything at all that is.
