I am thinking about implementing a Voice Over IP network onto my current 100Mbs HOME Lan. I have a Cable connection and basically want to run my voice calls (using telephones) over the net (to save on international calls - i make alot - 30a week approx).
I would like your suggestions on the equipment to purchase (which exchange system to install, which ITSP (Internet Telephone Service provider) to use, which phone system, which plans...any suggestions would be much appreciated. I plan on using my existing CAT5 cables for voice also. I would like to do the following: * 1 voice telephone line and 3 internet voice lines. * Telephone extensions * Voicemail * Conference calling (already have one tel for this) * Internal dialign i.e via extensions * Possible switchboard. Obviously I am looking for the most cost effective equipment etc.. Anyway you suggestions would be great. Thanks for your help, Olie ![]()
