problem with Flash 5

I go to < www.academyoflearning.com > to see what there is and am told that I need Flash 5 to view the site so I go to
<http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/...com/flash.html> to get the plugin and it tells me that I already have it. What is happening? What do I need to do?

That would appear to be a good idea exept that it is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Pannel and it is not in the Start Menu anywhere (for an uninstal file).
