I have had problems with my cable modem recently and I have just resolved it (it was the ISP). Basiaclly my modem would do turn on > do the tests and connect and then drop the connection a restart itself again.
I also think that the Coax cable i was using was not thick enough. I used a cheap cable and poor results turned out.

What are your symptoms?

Olie

hmmm....
Well I would speak to them, tell them this and keep pushing them (as it worked for me and for others), its also amazing what B&*^&*^ they come up with
e.g. i was told that my computer was on a responding, when it was off (& the cable modem)- which was unplugged.
So dont let them lay you off.

Good luck,

Olie

You know if you would post the same conversation or problem that is the same as you were talking about before in a different thread someone might know what the hell you were talking about? But this jumping from thread to thread isn't going to cut it. No wonder your having problems.
