Lost Bookmarks and Address book

Recently I set up a new e-mail address using my Netscape browser (Communicator 4.78). I connect to the internet via a cable modem and I use Windows 98SE. Even though I followed the instructions from my ISP which told me to set up a new profile manager and assured me that my Bookmarks and Address Book would be transferred to the new e-mail address; I lost everything.

If I log on to Netscape using the previous profile manager and my old e-mail address, I see the several old messages in the inbox, but then a menu called "password entry dialog" appears which asks me to enter a password, however, the screen freezes up and I have to reboot the computer.

I gather from this that the bookmarks and addresses are still in my computer somewhere, but I don't know how to access them. Help!! I hope I have given enough information for someone to help; if not, please let me know. Thank you.
