xga vs. sxga?
could someone explain how much better one is than the other or perhaps gimme a link to an artical about this? thanks

There's an old thread around here somewhere about this. Basically, it's just a description of the resolution of the notebook's/laptop's LCD screen.
VGA = 640 x 480 SVGA = 800 x 600 XGA = 1024 x 768 XGA+ = 1152 x 864 SXGA = 1280 x 1024 SXGA+ = 1400 x 1050 UXGA = 1600 x 1200 QXGA = 2048 x 1536 Here's an article that may interest you, with a chart near the bottom (I included more resolutions than the chart has).
