Google has just launched its brand new conversational chatbot and they’re inviting its users to have a try! If you want to get your hands on this ChatGPT rival, you’ll need to sign up for the Google Bard waitlist.

In an effort to catch up to its major competitor Microsoft, Google has developed its very own large language model (LLM) chatbot named Bard.

The chatbot is currently in its experimental phase and is only open to a select group of users – those who are in the UK and US. In the future, expect a full version of Bard to become available to the wider public.

Join the Google Bard waitlist

Here are the steps to join the waitlist. It is important to note that only Google members from the UK and the US are able to sign up.

  1. Head to the Bard website.
  2. Select “Join waitlist.
  3. Sign in to your Google Account, if you haven’t already.
  4. Next, select “Yes, I’m in”. You’ll now be added to the waitlist. Once you have been granted access you should receive an update email from Google.

You’ll be happy to hear that the waitlist time is very short. Expect to receive access to Bard within a day or two.

Who can join the Google Bard waitlist?

At the moment, only users in the US and UK can join the Google Bard waiting list. You will also need to be 18 or over, have a personal Google account and have access to a supported browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
