If you’re here you’re looking for where to buy the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 and you’re in the right place. Below are the key links you need and information to bear in mind for the new ‘non-X’ Ryzen 5, as AMD shakes its chips…so to speak.

The Ryzen 5 7600 is the new, more efficient Ryzen 5 SKU from Team Red promising (along with its siblings) to add a new shine to AM5 for potential buyers. If you want to buy the AMD Ryzen 5 7600, you should know it’s more efficient, costs less, and will likely draw less power at max load – although we’ve yet to confirm that.

If you buy a Ryzen 5 7600 CPU you should also get the benefit of similar performance to the 7600X. The 7600X has higher base clock speeds and boost clock speeds, and will beat the 7600 across productivity and gaming benchmarks. But the ‘X’ CPU will also draw more power to do so. So if affordability and performance per watt are key, buying a 7600 will make more sense.

And if you’re committed to buying the new CPU, here’s where you should be looking.

Ryzen 5 7600 release date

The Ryzen 5 7600 will release on Tuesday, January 10th, alongside two other Ryzen 7000 ‘non-X’ CPUs, the 7700 and the 7900. The launch will bring a bit more affordability to the Zen 4 CPU catalog, and help trim the cost of upgrading to a socket AM5 system.

The launch was confirmed by AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, during this year’s CES 2023 event – as the company looks to launch non-X and then (at some point in early 2023) X3D CPUs, to properly fill out its Zen 4 SKU list.
