All-white & ARGB Gigabyte RTX 5080 almost $160 off with deal and promo code at Newegg
Table of Contents
We’ve spotted another cracking graphics card deal on Newegg that’s nerfed the price of one of Gigabyte’s most stylish 50-series GPUs. This Gigabyte Aorus Master ICE RTX 5080 is down $98, but there’s also a further $60 off when you apply a promo code at checkout. Combined, this deal nets you $158 in savings, bringing its price down from $1,547.99 to $1,389.99.
This graphics card may be a little pricier than your standard RTX 5080, but it’s well worth it if you’re going for something with excellent cooling and stunning aesthetics, which are a level up from your standard all-white, non-RGB options. The lighting on this is stunning, and there’s even a small customizable LCD screen to display practically anything you want on. And it goes without saying that it’s a powerhouse for 4K gaming, demanding creative workloads, AI-accelerated tasks, and machine learning, too.

Key features of this Gigabyte Aorus RTX 5080 graphics card
Cooling performance
This card features Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE cooling system. This includes Hawk Fans, which are designed to increase air pressure, lower air resistance, and reduce noise. They spin in opposite directions to each other, too, which is a common way of reducing turbulence, and can completely switch off in less demanding scenarios, resulting in silent operation. On top of that, you’ve got your standard heatsinks and copper heat pipes, but this card goes above and beyond here. It features a vapor chamber for even more effective heat dissipation, service-grade conductive gel and composite metal grease for improved heat transfer from the GPU to the heatsink itself, and enhanced screen cooling to improve airflow from the top of the card.
Blackwell Architecture and 16GB VRAM
NVIDIA Blackwell architecture is where it’s at if you want to get access to some of the latest generation ray tracing, tensor, and CUDA cores, alongside new and improved VRAM. You’ve got 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen Tensor cores, and GDDR7 VRAM, which is much faster and higher bandwidth than your typical GDDR6 memory, found in 40-series cards and some of the latest AMD Radeon options. It also has MFG, which can insert up to three frames between two frames, and dramatically increases perceived framerates, boosting gaming performance significantly beyond what the card is capable of under its own steam.
ICE white design with aRGB
A level up from your ‘standard’ all-white aesthetic, this card features touches of customizable lighting for a touch of visual flair. You’ve got RGB Halo lighting, located around the fans, a small LCD screen that can display anything from custom text, pictures, GIFS, GPU information, and more. All of this can be controlled easily via the Gigabyte Control Center software, making it a breeze to add your own personal touches to this card.

Considerations and alternatives
The only real consideration here is if you want to pay around $350 more than your typical RTX 5080 graphics card, which may not have aRGB, an LCD screen, and may look a little more basic. If the all-white aesthetic is something you’re going for, you can find similar options for less in the sales right now, some of which may even be factory overclocked out of the box. The MSI Ventus 3 OC is an all-white option without aRGB, and is currently on sale for $1,279.99 at Newegg, at the time of writing. It looks awesome, has better performance, and is a fair bit cheaper, too.
