What we liked about this gaming PC deal
This gaming PC offers a nice balance between power and efficiency. The Intel Core i9-14900KF is a flagship processor and is meant to handle demanding tasks like video editing, data compression, scientific modeling, and more. So, when it comes to any of these tasks or gaming, it should provide a good and efficient output without any issues.
On the other hand, we have the RTX 5060 Ti, which comes with 16GB GDDR7 VRAM. More memory is better for gaming and non-game tasks, and to showcase its capabilities, we’ll leverage our ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti OC review. When we tested this GPU, it managed 121, 92, and 58 FPS at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K in AC: Mirage.
In graphically demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077, we got 123, 78, and 34 FPS in the same resolutions. So, 1080p and 1440p are where this card truly shines, and the 4K output isn’t consistent. However, with DLSS 4 and MFG, you should be able to run games at 4K.
When it comes to other specifications, it comes with a 2TB SSD, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, WiFi 6E, Windows 11 Pro, and nine prism fans for adequate cooling. There isn’t anything that we think could’ve been better, and the overall system should work to deliver a smooth and stable gaming and working experience.
Is this a good deal?
This is an eye-catching deal because you’re getting a good amount of performance for the price tag, but we think it is only worth considering with the price cut. If the price drops further, it’ll be even better because for a gaming PC, close to $2,000, there are better options available on the market.
So, we’d recommend you explore a bit more before making your decision. However, that doesn’t mean this is a bad offering; the blend of hardware should ensure that you can easily tackle various tasks, but for better value for money, a deeper discount would’ve been better. That being said, it is worth noting that at this price, you’ll also get a gaming mouse and keyboard, which makes the offer more appealing.
