Excellent gaming CPU
This build features the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which was once the top dog of gaming CPUs. The good news is that it’s so good, it’s still found paired with the very best graphics cards, and thanks to its notably massive L3 cache, it’s an excellent choice for those who want to game at high fps. It features 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock of 5GHz, and a 96MB L3 cache. Good amount of RAM and storage

How will this gaming PC perform?
As usual, we’ll share our benchmarks for the RTX 5080 FE to give you an idea of how this PC could perform when it comes to gaming. Starting with one of the most demanding games, Cyberpunk 2077, we saw it get 151fps at 1440p and 68fps with ray tracing. At 4K, it reached 72fps and 35fps with ray tracing. The less demanding Doom Eternal saw incredibly high fps, coming in at 426fps at 1440p, 295fps with ray tracing, followed by 265fps at 4K, and 191fps with ray tracing. Finally, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a good game to illustrate the difference DLSS and MFG can make. At 4K, the RTX 5080 got 91fps with ray tracing, but with DLSS Performance enabled, this shot up to 181fps.
Who’s this deal for?
In short, if you want something primarily for gaming, but want to also grab something with a high level of build quality, with very high-end RAM, SSD, cooling, and more, then this is the deal for you. Coming in at $3,399.99, this is about $1,000 more than some of your lower build quality RTX 5080 models, so you’re still paying a big premium for the fact that it’s Corsair. Is it worth it? We’d say so, for sure, but if you’re main aim is to grab an RTX 5080, X3D gaming prebuild, and you don’t mind having a pretty lackluster SSD, lower-end PC case, and maybe slower RAM, then you can do so for way cheaper…relatively speaking, that is.
