RTX 5070 gaming PCs are a great way to go if you’re looking for something for 1440p at max settings and high fps, and we think the Skytech King 95 option is great value at its current price on Amazon. It’s now down to its best-ever price with a hefty $200 discount, and reduced from $1,799.99 to $1,599.99. This PC goes for the impressive Intel i7 14700F processor, which is one of the best all-rounder CPUs you can get for your money, and is brilliant for both gaming and creative professionals, too.

What we like about this Skytech King 95 gaming PC
Powerful 14th Gen Intel processor
This PC packs the excellent Intel i7 14700F, which, as we mentioned in our review, we think is one of the leading processors for creatives and productivity. On top of that, it also offers excellent gaming performance, too, and that’s no surprise considering its specs. You’ve got a very high core and thread count of 20 and 28, a high boost clock speed of 5.5GHz, and a large 33MB L3 cache. These all add up to something incredibliy well-rounded, that can provide excellent single core performance and reduced frame latency, but also handle multiple programs at the same time without significant slowdowns.
Excellent card for 1440p and mid-level content creation
The RTX 5070 is a brilliant bang-for-your-buck card for 1440p, that can, at a push, be used for 4K, too. Due to it having ‘only’ 12GB of GDDR7, it’s not going to be our first choice for 4K, however, especially if you want to have ray tracing enabled, but it does perform admirably at ultra settings without, at least from our testing of an ASUS variant. Our testing highlighted its performance at 1440p being great for the price, though. With Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings, it was able to get 108fps at 1440p, 45fps with Ray Tracing, and 48fps at 4K, 21fps with Ray Tracing. With Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, it got an impressive 152fps at 1440p and 89fps at 4K on ultra settings. Thanks to Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, you can leverage DLSS 4 and MFG to boost framerates further, and it also ensures it’s smoother when doing so. As for content creation, 12GB of VRAM is enough for editing 4K video and photo editing, and should handle most mid-level tasks with ease; however, you may want to lean towards the RTX 5070 Ti if you’re doing more complex tasks, such as 3D rendering.
Good amount of RAM and basic storage
1TB of storage is okay for most people who play a few games on rotation, and can theoretically hold around ten large AAA titles. If you’re using this for more than just gaming, you’ll want to upgrade this to at least 2TB, but for starters, and considering the overall price, it’s not bad. The RAM brings more to the table, though. You’re getting 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is exactly what’s needed if you’re playing heavily modded games or you’re running loads of applications at once.

Who’s this deal for?
As far as RTX 5070 gaming PCs go, this is one of the better-priced options and one that also has a very versatile and powerful processor, too. This PC is as much for content creators as it is for gamers, and we think it’s a brilliant deal at its current price, which, as you can see from the graph above, has broken its previous record-low of $1,699.99 recorded back in July.
As for alternatives, a good option to go for that would be similarly priced would be an RX 9070 XT prebuild. These actually have more VRAM and are better for 4K gaming, but not for a great deal more cost. You can check out our top gaming PC deals below to see what else is out there.
