Amazon deal knocks huge Samsung 85-inch Crystal UHD TV to a record-low price — now just under $800
Table of Contents
This 85-inch Samsung Class U800H Series TV has tumbled to its lowest price ever on Amazon and is now coming in at $797.99. Now that’s a very good price for a TV this size, making it one of the more budget-friendly options out there. Of course, this is more of an entry-level model, so it’s designed for large-screen everyday viewing and casual gaming.
Samsung 85-Inch Class U8000H Series Crystal UHD, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model
Since this is more of a basic TV, it’s actually very straightforward to understand what you’re getting. First off, it’s LED, not mini-LED. It’s also 60Hz, not 120Hz, which means it has decent motion handling and can be used for up to 60fps gaming. It features Motion Xcelerator, which helps make fast-moving scenes look smoother, and its Crystal Processor 4K can upscale lower-resolution content in real time to appear closer to 4K. On top of that, there’s also a Color Booster feature, which does exactly what it says on the tin, making colors appear more vibrant and punchy, rather than drab and washed out.

HDR10+ support
This TV can adjust its HDR tone mapping more dynamically than one that just supports HDR10. Instead of having a fixed setting, it can adjust scene by scene.

Should you buy this TV?
This TV is all about getting something massive, but without the huge price tag. In that sense, it’s well worth going for if you’re sticking to a budget. It’s designed for everyday use, watching sports, and casual gaming, so if you want something more premium, the next tier would be a mini-LED with a 120Hz refresh rate. You can check out some of our top TV deals below to see what’s currently on sale. For mini-LED options that are more affordable, I’d recommend looking at TCL and Hisense first.
