If you’re on the hunt for a cost-effective 50-series gaming PC that’s as good for 1080p and 1440p gaming as it is for productivity, then this is the deal for you. Right now, you can get this CyberpowerPC for $150 off, bringing its price down from $1,699.99 to $1,549.99. This is an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB gaming PC, and while you can find cheaper options on the market, this one earns its slightly more premium price tag as it has a powerhouse Intel i9-14900F processor, which is incredible for multitasking and other CPU-intensive tasks. On top of that, it also boasts a hefty amount of DDR5 RAM and a large SSD, which is ideal for anything from storing large AAA games to 4K footage. Even with a modest price reduction, we think this is a deal well worth checking out.

Liquid Cooled Gaming Desktop Computer, 2.0GHz, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, Windows 11 Home, Black

What we like about this CyberpowerPC pre-built gaming PC

Excellent value graphics card for 1080p and 1440p

The RTX 5060 Ti would be our pick for the best graphics card if you were going for something in the 50-series that didn’t break the bank, but still offered excellent performance at 1080p and 1440p. It features 4608 cores, 16GB of GDDR7 memory, a 2407 MHz base and 2572 MHz boost clock speed, and a 128-bit bus. In terms of pricing, you’re paying around $200 more at MSRP than the RTX 5060 8GB, but this obviously has way more VRAM and is therefore much better at handling higher resolution, textures, and ray tracing. It’s also a good option if you’re upgrading from the 40-series, as you’re getting access to Nvidia’s new features, DLSS and MFG. These can be used very effectively to boost both 1080p and 1440p framerates and overall performance.

Excellent Intel processor

This build features a far superior CPU that what you typically find paired with some more affordable RTX 5060 Ti builds, the Intel Core i9-14900F. This processor features a whopping 24 cores, 32 threads, a very high boost clock speed of 5.8GHz, and a large 36MB L3 cache. It’s considered a very good CPU for gaming and productivity, thanks to its high core and thread count, boost clock speed, and substantial L3 cache. Having a CPU like this at your disposal is a big win for the price.

A good amount of RAM and loads of storage

You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM here, which will be good for both gaming and keeping everything running smoothly. On top of that, there’s a 2TB SSD, which is more than enough for large gaming libraries, and suitable if you’re planning on using this for more than just gaming, like if you’re a video editor, for example.

How will this gaming PC perform?

We can give you a rough idea of what to expect with this PC in terms of gaming performance, as we’ve reviewed an ASUS RTX 5060 Ti graphics card in our testing labs. Starting with one of the most demanding games, Cyberpunk 2077, we saw this card get 123fps/1080p and 52fps with ray tracing, followed by 78fps/ 1440p, and 32fps with ray tracing. For Doom Eternal, the results were very impressive. The 5060 Ti hit 303fps at 1080p and 207fps with ray tracing. For 1440p, it ended up getting an impressive 231fps and 162fps with ray tracing. F1 24 gives us an example of how effective DLSS performance is with the RTX 5060 Ti. It got 93fps at 1080p, boosted to 121fps with DLSS, and 69fps at 1440p, boosted to 102fps.

Who’s this deal for?

While this may only be a modest discount, its $1,549.99 price tag is seriously competitive given the level of its CPU. As mentioned, you can find cheaper, but the CPU is often on the lower end, and not the best for multitasking or productivity. For example, this Intel processor would be our choice over a similar, but cheaper prebuilt that had a Ryzen 7 7700. On that note, we’d say that this would be a much more versatile choice for hybrid users, which comes at a slight premium, but is ultimately great value for money.
