RTX 5070 delivers powerful 1440p gaming
The RTX 5070 brings 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, giving the laptop plenty of memory for high-resolution textures, complex game assets, and demanding graphical elements/effects. Powered by the Blackwell architecture, you’ll get all the bells and whistles, such as DLSS 4.5 and MFG, which will help increase gaming performance even if you’ve enabled ray tracing. Other than this, NVIDIA Studio will help streamline content creation, making it a well-rounded graphics card.
17.3-inch QHD IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate delivers sharp, fluid visuals
This gaming laptop comes with a 17.3″ display with a QHD resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB coverage. This resolution provides a sharper image quality, while the massive display gives you plenty of screen real estate for gaming and work. You’ll see more of the workflow, graphs, spreadsheets, timelines, etc, without having to squint your eyes or zoom in and then scroll a lot. If that wasn’t enough, the 100% sRGB coverage allows this display to reproduce the full standard sRGB color space, meaning you’ll get accurate colors for gaming, movies, streaming, and creative work. You can easily tackle professional color grading and editing with this display, which is one of the biggest advantages.
32GB DDR5 RAM and expandable storage provide plenty of multitasking capacity
You’ll get 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD with this gaming laptop, which is pretty decent. This level of system memory gives you a significant overhead for content creation, AI, and other demanding processes, as heavy data can be easily stored without running out of space, and that helps keep the pipeline from cramping up. However, it gets better as you have the option of increasing these numbers up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD. This gives this laptop long-term flexibility for demanding applications such as Blender, Unreal Engine, etc, and also equips it to handle heavy multitasking and large projects.
The 4TB will also give you plenty of space to house games, applications, 4K footage, photos, and other media with peace of mind that you won’t be running out of space anytime soon. This will also keep it snappy, as it’ll boot quicker, apps and games will load faster, and the overall downtime will be reduced.
53Wh battery and 100W USB-C PD provide mobile flexibility
This aspect might be a dead breaker that this gaming laptop only has a 53Wh battery. However, it also supports that even if you don’t have the main charger, you can use the USB-C to keep it powered up, which can certainly be handy if you’re traveling. You can also keep it powered with a heavy-duty power bank, but keep in mind that this isn’t desktop-class battery endurance. The gaming laptop comes with hard-hitting hardware that consumes a lot of energy, and if you run relevant loads on it, you’ll find the battery depleting pretty quickly, as it is rated to last up to 4 hours under optimal conditions. So, we would highly recommend keeping it connected when you’re gaming, rendering, or tackling any intensive tasks.
