Corsair Vengeance i5100 Gaming PC – Liquid Cooled Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU
What we like about this Corsair Vengeance i5100 gaming PC
Excellent card for 4K gaming
The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards on the market right now, and a very popular option for 4K gaming, which doesn’t have the huge price tag of the RTX 5090. It features 10,752 cores, 16GB GDDR7 memory, and a 256-bit bus, making it very good at handling higher resolutions and textures. It’s also built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, and you’ve got access to newer features, like DLSS 4 and MFG, which are both very effective at pushing framerates higher and keeping everything looking smooth at the same time. This card would be our pick if we were going for a high-performance 4K gaming build, which could also make short work of heavy-duty creative tasks, such as 3D rendering, and more.
Top-tier Intel 14th-gen CPU
This PC features an Intel i9-14900KF, which is one of the top processors from the 14th-gen lineup. It features a massive core and thread count of 24 and 32, making it brilliant for multitasking and productivity. But it’s also very adept when it comes to gaming, with a very high boost clock speed of 6GHz and a large 36MB L3 cache. Granted, the 7 9800X3D may be preferable for the RTX 5080 for an all-out gaming build, but this processor is excellent if you’re planning on using the PC for more than just gaming.
32GB of Corsair DDR5 RAM
Corsair makes some of the best RAM on the market, so it’s not surprising that it’s going with its own Dominator Titanium RGB RAM in this build, and a hefty amount of it, too. Aesthetically, it looks great, and it’s also an amount that will be able to ensure that your PC is feeling responsive, even with loads of applications running at the same time.
2TB SSD
You’ve got a 2TB SSD here, which is more than enough for most large gaming libraries, and for hybrid usage, if you’re saving larger files like 4K footage, for example.
Corsair case, fans, and cooling
This build features the Corsair 2500X Dual Chamber case, which gives you some pretty amazing views of the PC’s internals, plus it’s designed for excellent airflow with fans on the side, rear, roof, and bottom. You’ve also got Corsair cooling, which is ultra-quiet, has dynamic RGB lighting, and is high-performance. On top of that, there are nine Corsair RGB fans, all of which are designed for maximum performance and quiet operation.
How will this PC perform?
In our testing of the RTX 5080 FE, which we can use to give you an idea of what to expect from this PC, we were very impressed at both its 1440p and 4K performance. In Cyberpunk 2077, it was able to get 151fps at 1440p, 68fps with ray tracing, and 72fps at 4K, 35fps with ray tracing. With Doom Eternal, it achieved a phenomenal 426fps at 1440p, 295fps with ray tracing, and 138fps at 4K, 91fps with ray tracing enabled. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a good benchmark to show the differences when you add DLSS and MFG into the mix. Without it, it was able to get 251fps at 1440p, 163fps with ray tracing, 138fps at 4K, and 91fps with ray tracing. However, with DLSS performance in 4K with ray tracing, it increased from 91fps to 181fps, which is seriously impressive.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $3,499.99, this is one of the more expensive RTX 5080 gaming PCs out there, but it’s justified in our view, as it’s packed with high-end Corsair products, from the RAM to the cooling, and much more. Much like with Gigabyte, MSI, or Cooler Master, you’re paying a premium for the build quality. However, if you’re looking for something seriously high-end that’s going to be great for 4K gaming, then this is a good way to go for the money.
