We’ve spotted a cracking discount on one of iBuyPower’s more budget-friendly RTX 5070 PCs, which has knocked just over $300 off its list price, and dropped it from $1,699.99 to $1,399.00 on Amazon. This gaming PC is one of the most budget-friendly RTX 5070 prebuilds you can get, and for the price, we think you’re getting some good bang for your buck here. You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM here with a decent Ryzen 7 processor and 1TB SSD, all encased within a stylish, premium-looking PC case with aRGB throughout. This is the type of PC that’s going to be great for anyone looking for excellent 1440p performance, who also wants all the benefits of Nvidia’s Blackwell Architecture, like multi-frame generation and new, faster GDDR7 VRAM, for example. RTX 5070 graphics card
If you’re going for a graphics card that’s excellent for 1440p gaming, has all the latest features of Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, and doesn’t completely break the bank, then the RTX 5070 is one of the best you can get. You’re getting a decent 12GB of VRAM here, which is GDDR7 and much faster than your typical GDDR6. In addition, you’ve got 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and 50-series exclusive features, like DLSS4 with MFG and 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders. Ryzen 7 8700F processor
This CPU is a good, cost-effective option that has pretty much everything you’d need for gaming and multitasking, and boasts impressive efficiency, too. You’ve got 8 cores and 16 threads, a big boost clock speed of 5GHz, and a relatively large 16MB L3 cache, plus a low 65W TDP. While it’s common to see the RTX 5070 paired with slightly more punchy processors, this one is a good way to go if you want to keep your overall spend below $1,500.
Storage and RAM
What’s great to see here is that this build has 32GB of DDR5, which is not always the case for this price point. This is going to help with everything from multitasking to handling beefier system requirements. It has a fairly standard 1TB SSD, which is going to give you enough room for a relatively large game collection, but may require a bit of storage management from time to time.
Things to consider
Since this is more of a budget-friendly RTX 5070 build, it does scale back on some of the components, namely the CPU, to keep things more affordable. It’s not uncommon to find 14th-gen Intel CPUs or newer Intel Core Ultra processors paired with the RTX 5070, and these are worth exploring if you’re looking for something with a higher core and thread count and better multitasking performance. On the gaming side, a Ryzen X or X3D model is going to be your best bet if you’re looking to get the most out of the RTX 5070 in that respect.
