Are you operating on a budget and looking for a graphics card that can run most modern games? The Sparkle Intel Arc B580 is worth checking out as when it launched it pushed the RTX 5060 and the RX 7600 XT out as the go-to budget GPUs due to the performance and value it delivers.

We’ve also reviewed this GPU in-house, and right now it is on sale on Amazon with its price dropped by 9%. The original price tag of this card was $349.99, but with this deal, it’ll only cost you $319.99

Gaming

When this GPU was released, there was no 9800X3D, and the 7800X3D was the best gaming processor. So, we paired the two together and ran a couple of games at different resolutions. We got 94 and 62 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p and 1440p. On the other hand, the RTX 4060 managed 80 and 47 FPS.

In Doom Eternal and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the B580 was able to manage 90 and 54 FPS at 4K. So, depending on the title, 4K gaming is possible with this card, but it isn’t consistent, and the experience will be much better if you stick to 1440p or 1080p.

Synthetic

When it comes to synthetic workflows, we ran the full suite of 3DMark, which includes Fire Strike Ultra, Time Spy Extreme, Port Royal, and Steel Nomad. The first two tests are responsible for seeing how the GPU handles rendering 4K frames, while Port Royal and Steel Nomad gauge the ray tracing and non-ray tracing output, respectively.

Deals season is here folks, and with it comes a plethora of eye-catching price cuts on some of the industry's most popular tech. Below are some of the best deals you can find right now.

We got 7,971, 6,916, 7,913, and 3,089 points in all these tests, respectively. For comparison, the RTX 4060 delivered 6,183, 5,297, 6,282, and 2,448 points, respectively. So, given the option, the Arc B580 is much better than the RTX 4060 in gaming and productivity, but the latter does have DLSS 3 to increase the gaming output.

Who’s this deal for?

This deal is excellent for anyone who is operating on a budget and wants a graphics card that is good for low-resolution gaming. This GPU has better value than the previous generation of NVIDIA and AMD budget offerings but if you want better productivity, it’ll be better to check out the budget options from RTX 50-series and Radeon 9000 GPUs.
