Ryzen 7 9700X
At the core of this gaming PC is the Ryzen 7 9700X, which is the mid-range offering of the Ryzen 9000 lineup. Initially, when we tested this processor, it was limited to 65W, but shortly after that, AMD reversed its decision and allowed us to tune it up to 105W. So, the numbers in our 9700X review could be better with a 105W TDP.
This processor easily delivered high FPS in graphically demanding titles at low resolution, showcasing its speed and efficiency, which enabled it to keep up with the RTX 4070 Ti Super. We got 325 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 and 240 FPS in Days Gone. Besides that, it also delivered excellent productivity, putting it at a perfect sweet spot.
RTX 4060
The RTX 4006 is a budget GPU that is best for 1080p and 1440p gaming. This GPU doesn’t have DLSS 4, but you can use DLSS 3 to increase its gaming performance, but for non-gaming tasks, it might not be the best option. In our RTX 4060 review, we gave it a 3.5/5 rating; however, it did a decent job of handling various AAA titles.

In Cyberpunk 2077, we got 77 FPS at 1080p and 48 FPS at 1440p. In Far Cry 6, it delivered 124 and 84 FPS, respectively. So, it can handle 1440p gaming easily as well, but it depends on the title.

Is this gaming PC worth it?
This gaming PC has a strong processor that should be able to handle resource-intensive workflows without breaking a sweat. However, comparatively, the GPU isn’t the strongest and the 9700X can easily be paired with any of the modern GPUs. So, you can upgrade it in the future to the RX 9070 XT or even the RTX 5080 without any issues.
However, speaking of the build as it is, it has its usecases and if you’re not concerned about high FPS at maxed out settings, then this prebuilt PC is worth considering as 1080p should be a breeze with this setup. Besides that, the supporting hardware doesn’t leave anything to be desired.
