Black Friday is heading our way, but there are some great discounts currently live well ahead of the sales. Take this limited-time Amazon deal, which is already being claimed, for instance. This Skytech Gaming Rampage PC is down 19%, reduced from $2,399.99 to $1,943.99, and at its best price ever. This gaming PC packs a brilliant graphics card for 1440p, the RTX 5070 Ti, and a powerful, but affordable, Ryzen 7 9700X CPU. We think, for the price, considering most RTX 5070 Ti PCs tend to be over $2000 even when discounted, it’s a great deal to check out.

Skytech Gaming Rampage PC – NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz (5.5GHz),, 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM 5600 RGB, 850W Gold ATX 3 PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11

What we like about this Skytech Gaming Rampage PC

Powerful and great value Ryzen gaming processor

This build features the excellent Ryzen 7 9700X, which is still one of the best gaming CPUs you can buy, especially for the price. It’s quite similar on paper to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, in the sense that it has the same core and thread count of 8 and 16, but it actually has a higher boost clock of 5.5GHz. Where it’s good, but perhaps not as good as many X3D models, is its 32MB L3 cache, which should allow for excellent gaming performance and low frame latency gameplay. It’s a great CPU for demanding content creation, too, and can handle demanding professional workloads like rendering and photo editing very well.

Excellent graphics card for 1440p and 4K

The RTX 5070 Ti 16GB would be our go-to if you’re after something that excels at 1440p and can be used for 4K gaming, also. It is an impressive card for the price, and features a large CUDA core count of 8960, and has a hefty 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, allowing it to handle most AAA modern titles easily at ultra settings. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means that you’re getting new AI capabilities, such as DLSS and MFG, that can be used to push performance even further. For creatives, this card will be great for tasks like rendering, 3D modeling, and any other demanding creative workload, such as video and photo editing.

32GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB storage

A good amount of RAM for most builds that will ensure you can run RAM-intensive creative applications, like Adobe Premiere Pro, and also handle large open-world games, with substantial asset libraries. Its 1TB SSD is a little on the small side for hybrid usage, so we’d recommend upgrading if you plan on storing both games and large creative files on this SSD at the same time.

How will this PC perform?

In terms of gaming performance, with the RTX 5070 Ti, most benchmarks have it doing very well at 1440p, achieving good framerates at ultra settings even with ray tracing enabled in most modern AAA titles. For instance, Cyberpunk 2077 was recorded at 60fps at 1440p with ray tracing in one review, which is seriously impressive given how demanding the game is to run. Generally speaking, without using DLSS, 4K can be a little dicey with demanding games; however, they are playable with a few tweaks to settings.

Who’s this deal for?

This deal is best for someone looking for more of a gaming PC than something for serious content creation, as there are better CPUs for the latter. That being said, it can be used for either and will be very capable at both. For the price, it’s actually one of the cheaper RTX 5070 Ti models that we’ve come across, as they tend to be around $2200 in most cases, even with discounts. If you’re upgrading from the 30 series or 40 series, then we think this is a great way to go. For more gaming PC deals, be sure to check out our top picks below.
