For the price, we think it’s a real winner if you’re looking for something with excellent build quality, which can also make short work out of 4K gaming at ultra settings.
Corsair Vengeance i7500 Gaming PC – Liquid Cooled Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU
What we like about this Corsair Vengeance i7500 gaming PC
Excellent graphics card for 4K gaming
The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards on the market right now, and a very popular choice for both 1440p and 4K gaming on ultra settings. It features 10,752 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 memory, a 256-bit bus, 2295MHz base, and 2617MHz boost clock speed. What you’re getting with this card over the previous gen is much better ray tracing performance, thanks to new and improved ray tracing cores, faster GDDR7 memory, and features like DLSS and MFG that can dramatically boost performance.
Very powerful Intel processor
While many builds tend to lean towards either the Intel Core Ultra series or Ryzen X3D lineup, with this build, you’re getting one of the top Intel 14th Gen CPUs, the i9-14900KF. This processor is an absolute beast, boasting a massive 24 cores and 32 threads, a super fast boost clock speed of 6GHz, and a large 36MB L3 cache. It’s excellent for gaming, 3D rendering, video editing, and heavy multitasking.
A good amount of RAM and a large SSD
You’ve got 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 RAM in this build, which is some of the most high-performance RAM you can get on the market. This is going to be enough RAM to keep your system feeling responsive, even while running loads of applications simultaneously, and it’ll also help when you’re playing games with large asset libraries, like open-world titles. The SSD is also a winner here and is a ‘high speed’ option coming in at 2TB. This is more than enough for most large gaming libraries, and its speed should help cut down boot and loading times.
Stylish Corair PC case and advanced cooling
This PC has Corsair’s 3500X ARGB Mid-Tower Case, which features wraparound tempered glass panels so you can get a good view of all the components inside. In terms of cooling, this build features Corsair’s Natilus RS aRGB liquid CPU cooler, which is very effective and a good choice for high-performance CPUs like the i9-14900KF.
How will this PC perform?
For a rough idea of how this PC will perform, we’ll use some of our benchmarks from our RTX 5080 Founder’s Edition review. We’ll start with a game that’s particularly demanding, especially with ray tracing, Cyberpunk 2077. On ultra settings, the RTX 5080 achieved 72fps at 4K and 35fps with ray tracing. That’s pure rasterization, so with DLSS and MFG, you should be able to push this much higher. Another good benchmark to use would be Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, which takes up a lot of VRAM. We saw the 5080 get an impressive 126fps at 4K with this game. Finally, for something that’s best played at higher fps, but still looks great, Doom Eternal. The RTX 5080 made short work of this, achieving 256fps at 4K and 191fps with ray tracing.
Who’s this deal for?
If you’re looking for something very good for gaming in 1440p or 4K on ultra settings, video editing, 3D rendering, and more, this would be a great option to go for. In terms of pricing, $3,199.99 is on the more expensive side, but that’s to be expected as this is a Corsair build. What you’re getting is a PC that’s filled with high-end Corsair components, from the PC case all the way to the RAM. In our view, it’s worth paying extra for, but you can always go for a different brand and find an RTX 5080 gaming PC for around $2,500 in the sales.
