One of Corsair’s premium RTX 5080 PCs has a huge $800 discount on it thanks to the Prime Big Deal Days sales, and it’s well worth a look. Reduced from $4,399.99 to $3,599.99, this PC is still quite the investment; however, it not only packs one of the top gaming CPUs on the market, but it’s filled to the brim with super high-end Corsair components. Everything from the RAM, cooling, fans, and even the case itself is Corsair, which means you’re getting some of the best build quality you can find. It’s more expensive than your average RTX 5080 build, but we think it’s well worth considering if you’ve got the budget.

Corsair Vengeance a5100 Gaming PC – Liquid Cooled AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU – 32GB Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5 Memory – 2TB M.2 SSD – Black

What we like about this Corsair Vengeance a5100 gaming PC

Excellent graphics card for 4K gaming

We’ve quacked on for ages about the RTX 5080, and with good reason. It’s one of the best options you can go for if you’re looking to game in 4K on ultra settings, and the results when using DLSS and MFG are extremely impressive. To give you an idea of performance, we’ll use our benchmarks from our RTX 5080 FE review, which are all pure rasterization at ultra settings. Cyberpunk 2077 was playable at 72fps at 4K and 35fps with ray tracing enabled. Doom Eternal was playable at 265fps at 4K, and 191fps with ray tracing, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider reached 138fps at 4K, and 91fps with ray tracing enabled. When you throw DLSS and MFG into the mix, you see a huge uplift. For example, with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it jumped from 91fps to 181fps with ray tracing with DLSS performance. That’s just a glimpse of how good this card is, and considering it’s practically half the price of the 5090, we think it’s well worth it for most people.

Brilliant Ryzen processor

Interestingly, Corsair has decided to go for the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D instead of the more commonly used Ryzen 7 9800X3D. We think it’s a good move to keep the price of this premium PC from going into the stratosphere, but without sacrificing performance. This processor is one of the very best gaming CPUs you can buy, and boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5GHz, and a large 96MB L3 cache. It’s ideal if you want to reduce frame latency at higher resolutions, and thanks to it being a little older, it’s amazing value for money, too.

Corsair’s own high-end components

Where these builds come into their own is with the fact that they’re stuffed with Corsair’s very own products. First off, you’ve got a Corsair PC case, which is super sleek but also designed for optimal airflow and cooling performance. Then you’ve got Corsair’s RGB Liquid cooling system, which again, looks the part but also delivers exceptional cooling, too. Corsair Fans, nine of them to be precise, also feature in this build, and let’s not forget its inclusion of Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 RAM, too.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at $3,599.99, even with the deal, this is one of the more expensive RTX 5080 PCs out there, but you’re paying a premium because of the sheer quality of the build. Corsair makes some of the very best components on the market, and this is full of them, not to mention it’s also got one of the best gaming CPUs and best graphics cards, too. For the money, we think it’s a great deal, but you can find cheaper if it’s outside of your budget, and get similar performance.
