Why you should have the ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti OC Edition Graphics Card on your radar

  • 12GB VRAM: Dive into your favorite games at 1440p or 4K resolutions, using the RTX 4070 Ti’s 12GB of VRAM. Great at the ultrawide 3440×1440 resolution.
  • Frame Generation & DLSS 3: Enhance performance in-game where it matters most, using NVIDIA’s Frame Generation and DLSS 3. Ideal for more demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077, especially when using ray tracing.
  • Axial Tech Fans: Experience 31% better airflow than the last gen using ASUS’ Axial-tech fans, ensuring your GPU stays quiet and cool while gaming.
  • Overclocked: Enjoy higher levels of performance on the RTX 4070 Ti. Overclocked out of the box.

Is this a better option than the RX 7900 XT?

While ray tracing performance along with DLSS 3 and Frame Generation stands superior over the RX 7900 XT’s equivalent options, it still appears to be the weaker option.

Performance between the two GPUs is almost the same in a plethora of titles especially at 1440p, with either GPU taking the win of higher frame rates depending on which game is played.

With this in mind, the RX 7900 XT is much cheaper than NVIDIA’s GPU, offering the same level of performance, and is better in multiple cases. It appears that the main appeal for the 4070 Ti, in this case, would be DLSS 3 and its stronger image quality compared to FSR 3 along with greater frame rates while using ray tracing.

If you’re looking to save as much as possible, and still achieve similar levels of performance, AMD’s GPU is the go-to.
