Table of Contents
If you’re looking for a budget CPU, there are numerous options to choose from. With AMD offering some of the best CPUs for gaming, we naturally turn to their range to find the right processor. With its latest platform, AM5, now in its second generation, we can look back to the 7000 series for some great discounts, including the Ryzen 5 7600X. Still offering six cores, 12 threads, it’s one of the lower-end options in the Raphael range to pick from.
Even still, it does well as a gaming processor, as we found in our 7600X review, where it earned itself 4.5 out of 5 stars. So now with the 41% discount on Amazon, you can pick it up for $175.99 instead of its MSRP of $299. That means you can enjoy a saving of $123 even before the Black Friday CPU deals have begun, and join the 3,000 being bought in the past month on Amazon.

Why we like this budget CPU deal
The Ryzen 7600X brings a great deal of price-to-performance with it, and an affordable way to get onto AMD’s AM5 platform. One that has so much to offer with the speeds and upgrades down the line, with the promised lifespan of the socket. Particularly if you want to upgrade to an X3D processor down the line or wait for new generations to see what they have to offer.
As a last-gen product on discount, it comes at an even more affordable price, although not as low as it once was. Still, it’s a great early Black Friday AMD deal to take advantage of. Particularly since the CPU is a well-reviewed and still sought-after option, as on the retailer, it averages out 4.8 stars out of 5 from over 4,800 ratings, and with over 3,000 bought in the past month, according to Amazon.
