Apple’s A16 chip iPad drops by $150 weeks ahead of Black Friday
Table of Contents
Hunting for a new tablet in November can be tricky. However, if you’re keen on a premium option, this may be the deal that delivers what you need. Apple’s stylish 2025 11-inch iPad has been discounted on Amazon, saving you a good amount of cash on the regular $349 list price. The current price is a flat $299, a $150 (14%) saving.
The 11-inch iPad rarely dips below $300, making this a good time to buy. And you can choose any of this iPad’s colorways for the same price: silver, blue, pink, or yellow. The 2025 model is roundly praised by users, delivering the slick and powerful experience we’ve come to expect from iPads. Here’s what you need to know.
Apple iPad 11-inch: A16 chip
What we like about the 11-inch Apple iPad
Speedy A16 chip for all uses
Apple’s A16 chip offers a performance boost over its predecessor and is essentially all you need for tablet tasks. Whether you’re browsing the internet, streaming your favorite show, or playing games, performance will be speedy and smooth. The A16 is the same chip found in Apple’s iPhone 15, so its benefits are clear for mobile devices.
Gorgeous Retina Display
One of the large draws of any Apple iPad is the screen. The 11-inch is no different, as it features Apple’s established Liquid Retina display. This is a screen that can be measured by how much you’ll enjoy your content, while forgetting the display exists. The True Tone feature can even adjust the color temperature to match a room’s lighting. Watch, browse, game, draw, and enjoy!
Ample storage and battery
Key concerns with mobile tech include battery life and storage space. The 11-inch iPad should offer around 9-10 hours of use on a full charge, although video will deplete the battery more quickly. Still, that’s more than enough for a day of mixed use on the move before you’d need to recharge. Storage space is 128GB…but you can pay $100 or $200 more for 256GB and 512GB, respectively.

What to consider before you buy
Although it’s not the smallest model, the 128GB 11-inch iPad is the most cost-conscious Apple option available. It’s cheaper than the smaller Apple iPad Mini and the thinner (but more performance-driven) iPad Air. So it’s certainly a win if you want a more affordable but premium tablet. There are cheaper tablets (Amazon’s Fire HD models, for example), but if you’re keen on the Apple ecosystem, this deal represents a solid saving.
