Key features and specs
Graphics card
This laptop features an RTX 5060 mobile GPU, which has 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, a 128-bit bus, and 952/1455MHz clock speed. It’s a decent card for 1080p gaming, but can be used for higher resolutions if you’re utilizing DLSS and MFG, and tweaking a few settings. For less graphically demanding titles, such as some of the popular online first-person shooters, this is a very capable graphics card that should be able to handle higher framerates easily.
CPU
You’ve got the excellent Intel Core Ultra 9 processor in this laptop, which boasts a hefty core and thread count that makes it brilliant for multitasking. It also features a large 36MB L3 cache and a high 5.4Ghz boost clock speed, which is great for gaming performance. It’s a high-end processor that makes this laptop much more than simply a gaming machine, but one that will be brilliant for moderately demanding creative workflows and productivity, too, especially with its dedicated 13 TOPS NPU.
Screen
You’ve got the very impressive ASUS ROG Nebula Display here, which is a very bright, 2.5K resolution, 240Hz screen. These screens are mini-LED, so they’re very precise with very high peak brightness and excellent color. It’s actually 100% DCI-P3, which is up there with some of the best laptop screens for creative professionals. Overall, it’s one of the features that really elevates this laptop to new heights.
RAM and storage
As with some of the best gaming laptops, this has 16GB of high-speed DDR5 RAM, which is great for overall system responsiveness and running RAM-intensive applications, like Adobe Premiere Pro, or open-world games. It also has 1TB of storage, which is decent for smaller gaming libraries.

Pricing history

As you can see, it looks like this laptop has dropped to its best price ever only recently, and since it’s been on the way down since late March, we don’t think it’ll jump up to full price anytime soon. Whether it drops lower in the sales, we’ll have to wait and see, but if it does, we wouldn’t expect it to be by much. If you’re keen on the laptop, we think now could be a great time to grab one and save yourself some cash and stress, too.
Considerations before buying
For an RTX 5060 laptop, this is on the slightly pricier side, but that’s because you’re paying a premium for the high-end CPU, screen, and overall ASUS ROG build quality and extra features, like WIFI 7, tool-free design, 90W battery, and more. Considering that the RTX 5060 mobile is best used for 1080p gaming, if that’s your main priority, these other features may be unnecessary, especially if you’re only using it for everyday usage. We’d recommend checking out some RTX 5050 models if you’re looking for something more affordable, but very much tailored to 1080p gaming. Some of the Alienware RTX 5050 laptops are surprisingly good value, with excellent build quality and decent screens, for example.
