Corsair Vengeance i5200 Gaming PC – RTX 5090
What we like about this Corsair Vengeance i5200 gaming PC
Powerful Intel processor
The Intel Core Ultra 285K is a very high-end CPU that’s often found paired with the RTX 5090. We reviewed here at PC Guide and were impressed on the whole. What stood out to us in our testing was its excellent multi-core performance, large core and thread count (24 + 24), and overall efficiency and temperatures even under heavy loads. While some of the X3D offerings from AMD Ryzen would be arguably preferable for gaming, due to their larger L3 cache sizes, the 285K is a good choice for heavy-duty multitasking and productivity, especially with its dedicated NPU for AI tasks. Overall, if you’re looking for a more well-rounded choice for a PC, and plan on splitting your time evenly between gaming and content creation, for example, then this a great CPU to have at your disposal.
Top-tier Nvidia graphics card
The RTX 5090 is, of course, the top graphics card you can get right now, boasting double the amount of VRAM as the RTX 5080, and coming in at practically double the price, too. It’s an amazing graphics card for 4K and even 8K gaming, and is seriously impressive, even without using DLSS and MFG. We’ve reviewed a couple of RTX 5090s, one from MSI and one from ASUS, and were blown away with their performance, especially at 4K. To give you a rough idea of what to expect with this build, we can use some of our benchmarks from our MSI Suprim SOC RTX 5090 review. For Cyberpunk 2077, it was able to get 110fps at 4K, and 60fps at 4K with Ray Tracing on ultra settings. AC Mirage averaged 149fps at 4K at ultra settings, and Doom Eternal hit a very impressive 387fps at 4K, and 269fps with ray tracing. When we throw MFG and DLSS upscaling into the mix, we see some very high frames per second at 4K with ray tracing. With Cyberpunk 2077, we switched on DLSS Performance and MFG 4, and could get 293fps, for example. For content creators, its AI capabilities and huge 32GB of VRAM make it exceptional for tasks like rendering, animation, and more, too.
High-quality Corsair components
Unlike some other alternatives, the majority of the hardware in this PC is from Corsair itself, rather than from different manufacturers. You’ve got Corsair’s impressive Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5 RAM, and a hefty 64GB of it, too, coming in at 6400MHz. You’ve also got its iCUE Link Titan 240 RGB Liquid CPU cooler, and nine iCUE Link RX120 RGB Fans to keep your system running optimally and quietly. It’s even got a Corsair PSU, coming in at 1200W.
Stunning design
From clean cable management to a stunning Corsair case that gives you a full view of the components inside, this is one of the best-looking PCs we’ve seen. It has a clean, high-quality aesthetic that we’d come to expect from Corsair, without being quite as ‘bombastic’ as some other prebuilds on the market. We think this would look just as good in a more toned-down, home office environment as it would in a more gaming setup.

Who’s this deal for?
This is one of the more expensive RTX 5090 gaming PCs out there, which tracks for the specs, the brand reputation, overall build quality, and inclusion of a top Intel CPU. There are options out there that are closer to the mid-$4000 mark; however, if you really want the best of the best, then these Corsair builds are the way to go. For the price, as you can see, it’s back at its lowest ever again on Amazon, so we’d say it’s a great time to buy, but there are other, more affordable alternatives from the likes of Skytech, iBuyPower, and more.
