Skytech Gaming Legacy 4 Gaming PC – NVIDIA RTX 5090 32GB

Intel Ultra 9 285K 5.5GHz, Z890 Board, 4TB Gen4 NVMe SSD, 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000, 1200W GOLD ATX 3 PSU, 420 ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11, Desktop

Key features of this Skytech Gaming Legacy 4 PC

RTX 5090 graphics card

The best graphics card you can buy for 4K gaming right now, the RTX 5090 packs a whopping 21,760 CUDA cores, 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and a large 512-bit bus. As with the 50-series, it’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means it features some of the very latest components and features. You’ve got 5th-gen tensor cores for a significant uplift in AI capabilities, and 4th-gen ray tracing cores for improved performance and handling of complex scenarios. On top of that, there’s multi-frame generation, which can be used to further boost perceived fps by inserting up to three frames between two. There’s also 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders, which offer big improvements in video quality, encoding speed, and professional features over the previous generations. Read our MSI RTX 5090 review here to understand more about what to expect in terms of this PC’s performance.

Intel Core Ultra 9-285K processor

The 9-285K is a very strong all-rounder processor that’s designed for excellent gaming, multitasking, content creation, and productivity performance. It boasts a much higher core and thread count (24 + 24) than the common alternative, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but scales back when it comes to the L3 cache, which is 36MB. It has a big boost clock speed of 5.7GHz, which will come in handy for more demanding tasks, such as gaming, and also has a dedicated NPU, which can be used for any real-time AI tasks and even some editing, too. Read our review for a deeper dive.

Storage and RAM

It’s quite common for Skytech Legacy 4 gaming PC to go all-in on RAM and storage, so it’s no surprise that this build features a huge 4TB SSD and 64GB of DDR5. In terms of storage, this is large enough for even the biggest gaming collections, and it’s unlikely you’ll have to do much in the way of space management for a very long time. 64GB of RAM is almost overkill for most, but it will allow for a lot of headroom for demanding system requirements, multitasking, and running RAM-intensive creative applications.

Things to consider

As mentioned, this is quite pricey, and it is possible to find less expensive RTX 5090 builds if you scale back in the obvious areas, such as the CPU, SSD size, and amount of RAM. Generally speaking, from what we’ve seen, RTX 5090 builds with a Core Ultra CPU tend to be quite expensive, but if you opt for something like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, you can find them for under $5000, especially when they have a 1TB SSD. If you wanted to save even more, but still get great 4K gaming performance, you may also want to consider RTX 5080 builds, which can be as low as $2,500 when discounted.
