Memorial Day 2024 is observed on the last Monday of May, so this year it falls on Monday, 27th May 2024. This US holiday is a federal holiday intended to honor US military personnel. However, the event is also generally used to mark the start of summer, so a lot of retailers use the holiday to start cutting the prices on a range of items for the new season.

Unlike a lot of other sales, Memorial Day deals actually last far longer than the holiday itself – with many discounts kicking off from a week before Memorial Day weekend and lasting all the way through until mid-June.
