Hisense 55″ E6 Cinema Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV (55E6QF, 2025 Model)
What we like about this Hisense 55-inch Cinema Series TV
While we usually cover a lot of high-end TVs, many of which are very capable for gaming with both console and PC, that doesn’t mean that more budget-friendly options like this Hisense offering aren’t also well worth your time. This TV essentially covers all the basics you’d need for everyday viewing, movie nights, and even some gaming if you don’t mind being capped at 60fps.
Some of the main standout features of this Hisense model are its QLED color, Filmmaker Mode, and AI light sensor. QLED is one level down from mini-LED, but it’s still excellent for color and brightness. Expect life-like picture quality, that’s also vibrant, with great contrast, too. Filmmaker mode is often found in some of the most high-end TVs, and it essentially restores the color, frame rate, aspect ratio, and even the audio to align with what the Director originally intended. That’s brilliant for movie buffs, and really elevates your movie nights to a whole new level. The AI light sensor is also a great touch, as it automatically adjusts brightness depending on the room’s ambient lighting. That’s great for lower and higher light environments to either prevent eye strain and glare or allow you to see what you’re watching more clearly.

It also features Motion Rate 120, which is not to be confused with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s basically an upscaling feature that gives you the appearance of high fps, making on-screen motion look far more fluid and smooth. You’ll want to use this when you’re watching sports in particular.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $259.99 for a QLED 55-inch TV, this is an absolute steal in our opinion, and we’d say it would make either a very budget-friendly main set or a brilliant option for a spare or bedroom. The only people who shouldn’t go for it would be those who are looking for something for 120fps at 4K. In short, if you’re looking for a TV to pair with an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 build, or maybe even a PS5 Pro, then go for one of the mini-LED options that have 144Hz refresh rates instead (which Hisense also has).
