Table of Contents
Black Friday deals are rolling in, and we’re seeing some excellent gaming PC offers that are well worth jumping on. Right now, this Skytech Gaming Rampage desktop PC is down $300, reduced from $1,999.99 to $1,699.99, and at its lowest price ever. This PC brings a lot to the table for the price. Firstly, it has the brilliant RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card, which is one of the best you can get for 1440p and 4K gaming if you’re looking to keep costs down. It’s also a more affordable alternative to the RTX 5070 Ti, if you’re going for something that you’ll use primarily for gaming, too. On top of that, you’ve got arguably one of the best value for money CPUs you can buy, the i7-14700F, which has a huge core and thread count and is brilliant for productivity, creative tasks, and gaming. Overall, for the price, we think this gaming PC is a real steal.
Skytech Gaming Rampage Desktop PC – AMD RX 9070XT 16GB
What we like about this Skytech Gaming Rampage desktop PC
RX 9070 XT graphics card
The RX 9070 XT is one of the best graphics cards you can buy if you’re looking for a more affordable alternative to the RTX 5070 Ti and one that is still excellent for 1440p and 4K gaming. It’s built on RDNA 4 architecture, which boasts improvements to both ray tracing capabilities and AI, alongside having features like FSR 4, which can optimize gaming performance further. When it comes to gaming performance, it’s actually excellent given its price point. It’s 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM that definitely comes in handy, especially when handling 4K, and you can expect to easily hit over 100fps at 1440p in the most demanding AAA games at ultra settings.
Intel i7-14700F CPU
The Intel i7-14700F is probably one of the best price-to-performance ratio CPUs you can get. While this may lack some of the newer features present in the Core Ultra lineup, like a dedicated NPU, it still boasts a very high core and thread count (20 and 28), high boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, and a large 33MB L3 cache. It’s one of the best choices you can go for if you’re planning on using a PC for more than just gaming, as it’s going to be very effective for multitasking and other CPU-intensive workloads.
32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD
Pretty standard, in all honesty, but still very much welcome. The SSD is a little on the small side, but if you’re playing a handful of games, it shouldn’t get full too quickly. 32GB of RAM is going to be great if you’re playing open-world games, or you’re using especially RAM-intensive applications, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, for instance. It also goes without saying that since it’s DDR5, it is notably faster than your lower-end, last-gen DDR4 offerings, which will help give you a more seamless computing experience when using this PC.

Who’s this PC for?
This is a great PC for anyone looking for something that’s going to perform very well at 1440p and surprisingly well at 4K, especially when using FSR and tweaking a few settings with certain games. For creative workloads, it will be good, but Nvidia’s 50-series will have the edge, simply as they’re built on the new Blackwell Architecture, which boasts the latest-gen Tensor Cores, ray tracing cores, and more. You’ll also find that there are various Nvidia Drivers and optimizations that have been made to further enhance creative workflows in many of the most commonly used applications. However, for purely gaming performance for a fantastic price, especially considering this has 16Gb of VRAM, too, we think this is a great deal.
