It’s a great time to score this Toshiba 55-inch Z670R mini-LED TV for less, as it’s currently sitting at its 30-day low price on Amazon. Coming in at $548.99, there’s a lot to like about this TV, especially if you’re after something mid-range, with brilliant picture quality, gaming performance, and a powerful processor at its core.
First up, this TV is mini-LED, which means you’re getting something that has much more control over its brightness and contrast than a typical LED/LCD model. This makes for superior contrast and better HDR presentation, without being as pricey as an OLED. In terms of HDR, it has very wide compatibility, too, notably supporting HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ. This allows the TV to adjust its picture settings much more dynamically, scene-by-scene, rather than applying one fixed setting.

The processor here is the REGZA Engine Zri, which leverages AI to analyze content in real-time and optimize picture quality so it looks as good as possible. That could be anything from upscaling low-resolution FHD content to look closer to 4K, to making color look more lifelike.
