What we liked about this gaming PC
Solid budget processor
When the Ryzen 5 9600X dropped, it didn’t get a lot of love, but that was due to AMD’s focus on overefficiency, as the 65W TDP was limiting its performance. However, even with that handicap, this CPU delivers better productivity and gaming performance compared to the predecessor. Shortly after that, we did get the option to ramp up the TDP to 105W via BIOS, meaning that you can easily unlock its full potential. In our Ryzen 5 9600X review, we put it through its paces and would recommend that you check it out for a detailed understanding. However, keep in mind that the numbers you’ll see are when it was operating at 65W.

RTX 5060 for seamless gaming
The RTX 5060 is the entry-level GPU from the RTX 50-series lineup, and it isn’t surprising that it excels at 1080p and 1440p gaming. It comes with 8GB VRAM, which easily gets the job done, but looking at the increasing demand for memory and processing power, it does limit its productivity in demanding use cases. So, when handling 4K textures for rendering or video editing, 8GB VRAM can fill up quickly, slowing down the output. However, for lower resolution content, it is enough, and you can have a good and efficient experience.
AM5 excellence and liquid cooling for upgrades
This gaming PC is based on AM5, meaning that at its foundation is an AM5 motherboard. This means that you can upgrade to any other Ryzen 9000 processor for better performance, but you probably won’t need to do that. This sets you up for the future, and while liquid cooling is overkill for the 9600X, if you do upgrade the processor to a more powerful offering, liquid cooling will come in handy to handle the higher TDP, PBO, and any overclocking.
Who’s this gaming PC for?
This gaming PC is perfect for those with a strict operating limit but want a robust gaming PC. The processor and graphics card are both modern offerings and come with all the latest bells and whistles. So, what this means is that you’ll have a great gaming PC on your hands that can run any game at 1080p and 1440p, tackling creative workflows, AI, and other reasonably demanding use cases.
