If you’re looking for a budget-friendly 50-series gaming PC that’s going to be great for 1080p gaming at high fps, then this is a good deal to check out. This Skytech gaming PC is down 12% right now on Amazon, and has been reduced from $1,129.99 to a very reasonable $999.99. It features an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB graphics card with a Ryzen 7 5700 processor, which is surprisingly good for both gaming and when it comes to multi-threaded performance. For the price, it’s not too shabby in our opinion, and well worth considering while it’s reduced.

What we like about this Skytech Gaming Storm PC

Great value graphics card

The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is a great entry-level 50-series graphics card that is a good option for those looking to keep costs down. It features 4608 cores, 144 TMUs, 48 ROPs, 128-bit bus, and a 2407 MHz base clock, with 2572 MHz boost, making it good for 1080p gaming on medium settings primarily, as the lower VRAM can get in the way of the card handling some higher resolutions and more demanding ray-tracing effects. Overall, if you’re looking for a pretty capable card that won’t break the bank, that would be a good call for games that are better experienced at lower settings and higher fps (first-person competitive shooters, for instance), then this is a good card to go for.

Ryzen 7 5700 CPU

This processor is AM4 and features a more basic, but still good, offering designed for both gaming and multi-threaded performance. It has a decent core and thread count of 8 and 16, a boost clock speed of 4.64GHz, and a relatively smaller 16MB L3 cache. Its gaming performance is good for GPUs like the RTX 5060 TI, as it handles 1080p and 1440p well, and overall, it’s a very value-friendly option that gives you pretty much everything you need without breaking the bank.

Decent storage and RAM for the price

Again, since this is a budget PC, we’re not going to see the most expensive components, so you’ve got 16GB of DDR4 RAM here, instead of DDR5. That’s still pretty good and should hold up just fine, unless you’re planning on using this for very heavily modded open-world games or very intensive multitasking. It also features a 1TB NVMe SSD, which is quite standard for this price, but more than enough for a relatively large gaming library and your other files.

Who’s this deal for?

This Skytech gaming PC is a great first-time buyer option if you’re going for a gaming PC, and it’s not bad for other, more demanding productivity tasks, too. It looks great, which is important as well, and for the price, it’s a great value in our opinion. The only downside is the lack of VRAM, but that’s really only going to impact playing games with ray-tracing, which we would say is not the suggested usage for this PC anyway. For ray tracing, try heading towards the RTX 5070 to RTX 5070 Ti instead.
