Reasons to Buy
  • It is a very pocket friendly gaming PC
  • The RTX 5060 Ti is a solid budget GPU
  • It has WiFi 6E and a 2.5G LAN port

  • Only comes with 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD

Why you should get this gaming PC

The budget nature of this gaming PC is perfect for price-conscious buyers, but that also means that it doesn’t have very powerful hardware. So, as long as you don’t push it to play games at 4K or tackle server-level workflows, it should keep churning out an optimal performance.

The Core Ultra 7 265F is a toned-down version of the Core Ultra 7 265K, as it has a lower power draw and slower clock speeds. Besides that, it has the same number of cores, integrated graphics, an NPU, etc, so the performance shouldn’t be vastly different. The RTX 5060 Ti is great for 1440p gaming, and at that resolution, this CPU should have no issues keeping up with the GPU, eliminating any risk of a CPU bottleneck.

We’ve reviewed the ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti OC, and while it might not be the same GPU that you get in this prebuilt PC, you can overclock it to enhance its performance. When we tested this GPU, it churned out 111 FPS at 1440p and 56 FPS at 4K, respectively, in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The 4K performance dropped in Cyberpunk 2077, as we got 34 FPS, but the 2K output remained decent with 78 FPS.

So, 1440p is the sweet spot for this graphics card, but you can leverage DLSS 4 and MFG to play games at 4K, meaning the 5060 Ti is capable of punching above its weight class with the help of these technologies. Additionally, it features a 1TB SSD, which should be sufficient to get the system up and running, and 16GB DDR5 RAM operating at 5,600 MHz, which can be expanded up to 128GB. So, overall, this is a decent gaming PC that doesn’t cost a lot, and the only aspect that could’ve been better is the 1TB SSD.

Is this a good deal?

We think this is a good deal as it doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket and should be very appealing for anyone operating with strict spending limits. That being said, being a budget offering, it should have its limits, but you should be able to easily tackle 1440p gaming and demanding non-gaming tasks thanks to the 265F. 4K gaming is also possible, but you’ll have to turn on DLSS 4 to help the GPU.
