Budget-friendly RX 9060 XT receives eye catching price drop ahead of Black Friday
Table of Contents
The Radeon 9000 graphics cards have some of the best price-to-performance ratios, and if you’re operating with a strict spending limit but want to grab a good GPU, we recommend the XFX Swift RX 9060 XT OC. This is a pocket-friendly GPU with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and is based on the new RDNA 4 architecture that also brings FSR 4 to the table.
Right now, this GPU has crashed by 12% and instead of paying the full price of $429.99, you can grab it for $379.99. This is a very popular deal, with over 500 units sold in the past month. This is understandable considering the performance this card can deliver, which we’ll dive into in detail.
XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT OC
- Excellent for 1080p and 1440p gaming
- Great value for money
- Can increase gaming output via FSR 4
- Not meant for 4K gaming
- Its budget nature will show itself in very demanding scenarios
Why we liked the XFX Swift RX 9060 XT OC
This is an excellent budget graphics card that comes overclocked from the manufacturer, which gives it a boost clock speed of 3320MHz. So, compared to the base variant, it should deliver a better gaming performance and productivity. You also wouldn’t have to worry about it overheating since this is a triple-fan variant that should push plenty of air through it to keep it cool.
There are also plenty of reviews available online that showcase its performance, and it competes with and outperforms the RTX 5060 Ti in some titles. In Cyberpunk 2077, it managed 114, 75, and 34 FPS at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K. In CS2, it managed 59 FPS at 4K. With the help of FSR 4, a smooth gaming experience should be possible, but the 4K performance isn’t consistent with this card.
So, for the price, we think this graphics card delivers excellent value for money, and while the RTX 5060 Ti might outperform it, it also costs more. That being said, for the price, it is a great option worth considering.
Is this a good deal?
Considering what this graphics card is capable of, we think this is an excellent deal. This card is ideal for low-resolution gaming, and the price is also great. However, if you’re looking for more savings, we’d recommend waiting for Black Friday, as there are chances that it might drop in price even more, but that would also mean that the competition is tougher.
So, you’ll have to decide whether to get it now or wait for it. We’ll also be covering Black Friday and picking out the best Black Friday GPU deals, so check back with us during the holiday season for the best picks.
