If you’re looking for a compact RTX 5080 PC that also packs a recently released processor ideal for more than just gaming, this is the deal for you. This Gigatech Gaming Nova 7 SFF PC is going for almost $600 off at Newegg, and is reduced from $3,293.99 to $2,699.99. For the price, this is a great PC, especially considering that in most cases, more compact RTX 5080 prebuilds tend to be closer to $3000, like Cooler Master’s impressive shoebox-sized option. This PC also has an excellent processor that’s geared more towards all-around performance, rather than being designed just for gaming. The Intel Core Ultra 7-265K is going to be great for those splitting time between content creation, productivity, and gaming, and with a solid 32GB of DDR5 RAM, this should all feel very responsive and snappy, too.

Gigatech Gaming Nova 7 SFF Gaming PC Desktop – RTX 5080

Core Ultra 7 265K,, 64GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, RGB, Windows 11, Wi-Fi

Key features of this Gigatech Gaming Nova 7 SFF Gaming PC

RTX 5080 graphics card

This build features one of the best graphics cards you can get for 4K gaming, the RTX 5080. This card is a bit of a beast, boasting 10,752 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 265-bit bus, and a high 2617 MHz boost clock speed. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, so you’re getting 5th-gen tensor cores, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and new features like DLSS4 with MFG. On top of that, it also has 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders, which allow for seriously enhanced creative workflows. For gaming, you can expect this card to slam 4K with ray tracing easily with demanding AAA games, especially with assistance. Check out our full RTX 5080 FE review for a deeper dive.

Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor

This CPU is an excellent option if you’re going for something more well-rounded than your typical gaming-focused X3D models. It’s a great call for multitasking and multithreaded workloads as it features 20 cores and 20 threads, and it also has a big boost clock speed of 5.3GHz for more demanding single-core tasks, like gaming. It’s also incredibly efficient, which is why it’s a good call for using in more compact builds like this one, and can help keep energy costs lower, too, which is always a great thing. The only downside is that its L3 cache is only 30MB, which is on the smaller side. Read our full review for more details.

Storage and RAM

This build has a large 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is pretty impressive, especially for the price. It also features a decent fixed 1TB SSD, which is more than enough for most people, but may run out if you’re slamming it with large AAA games and 4K footage at the same time. Interestingly, it gives you the option of whether to go for an HDD or not. That’s great, as some people find them fairly redundant, unless you really need the space and don’t want to pay too much for it.

Things to consider

While it is a great PC for the price, you may want to explore a different processor if you want to get the most out of the RTX 5080’s gaming potential. As you’d expect, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D would be the one to do this, as it features a much bigger L3 cache (96MB), which is designed to reduce frame latency and facilitate much higher framerates in-game. Pricing-wise, you’re looking at between $2,700 and $3,100 or so for RTX 5080, 9800X3D builds, from our experience, and they’re often on sale. Check below to see what’s currently discounted.
