CyberpowerPC Gamer Supreme – AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
What we like about this CyberpowerPC prebuilt
Brilliant card for high fps 1440p and 4K
The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards you can buy right now, especially from a price-to-performance perspective. It’s a popular go-to for 4K gaming, as it can handle demanding games easily at ultra settings with ray tracing. In terms of specs, it features 10,752 CUDA cores, 16GB of faster, high-bandwidth GDDR7 VRAM, a large 256-bit bus, and 2295/ 2617 MHz base and boost clock speed. It’s also built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means you’ve got access to some of the new AI-based features, like DLSS 4 and MFG, which together allow for much higher fps, but preserve overall smooth on-screen movement.
Top AMD Ryzen CPU
This build features the impressive Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is one of the very best gaming CPUs on the market and would be our choice to pair with an RTX 5080 from a pricing perspective. It has 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.2Ghz, and a massive L3 cache of 96MB. While other Intel Core Ultra CPUs, or even some of the higher core and thread count AMD models, would be better for heavier multitasking usage, the 7 9800X3D excels when it comes to gaming thanks to its high boost clock speed and huge 3D V-cache. What you’ll find is that frame latency is dramatically reduced, which will greatly improve performance when gaming at high framerates.
Large amount of RAM and storage
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a large 2TB SSD with this build, both of which are more than enough to keep your system running optimally and allow for a hefty gaming library.
How will this PC perform?
In terms of performance, we’d recommend checking out our full RTX 5080 Founder’s Edition review, where we’ve benchmarked it against a wide selection of games. Cyberpunk 2077 is probably one of the best benchmarks to use, as it’s particularly demanding to run and has some very demanding ray tracing effects, too. On ultra settings, it got 151fps at 1440p, 68fps with ray tracing. For 4K ultra settings, it got 72fps at 4K, and 35fps with ray tracing. When we used new features like DLSS, we saw massive jumps in frame rates in games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which went from 91fps at 4K with ray tracing to 181fps with DLSS Performance enabled.
Is this PC good value for money at its current price?
Coming in at 2,384.99, this is one of the more cost-effective RTX 5080 PCs we’ve seen, and considering it has a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, a large 2TB SSD, and 32GB of RAM, it’s a great value for money. CyberpowerPC prebuilds are a good balance between price and performance, but they’re not loaded with the absolute S-tier of components, like you’d find in MSI or Corsair builds. That may mean that you need to upgrade some items in the future, but only if you feel the need to. Overall, it’s a great deal, and we think you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck here.
