We’ve spotted yet another Skytech gaming PC with a decent $200 discount, knocking its price down from $2,099.99 to $1,899.99 at Newegg. This Skytech gaming PC delivers on style, value, and performance. Inside its eye-catching PC case, you’ve got one of the best graphics cards for 1440p and 4K gaming, the RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, and a good price-to-performance Ryzen 7 7700X processor, which is a decent option for both gaming and multitasking. On top of that, there’s 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, in addition to a robust 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with aRGB fans to keep everything running at its best, even under sustained and heavy loads. For an RTX 5070 Ti prebuild, grabbing something at under $2,000 is always a win in our books, and we’d say this is well worth considering if you’re looking for something excellent for gaming and more demanding creative tasks, too.

Skytech Rampage Gaming PC Desktop – NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz (5.4GHz Turbo), 1TB Gen4 SSD, 32GB DDR5 6000, 850W GOLD ATX 3.0 PSU, 360mm AIO , Wi-Fi, Win 11 Home

Key features of this Skytech Rampage Gaming PC Desktop

Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

If you’re after excellent 1440p and 4K performance, and want to take advantage of all of the improvements Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture has brought to the table, then the RTX 5070 Ti is a great way to go. While the likes of the RX 9070 XT 16GB can trade blows with this graphics card in most games, the 5070 Ti does have the edge overall. That’s largely down to its 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, GDDR7 VRAM, and impressive multi-frame generation upscaling. It’s an excellent card for high-end 1440p gaming, but it’s also a better choice for more demanding creative work that requires more VRAM, such as higher resolution video editing or 3D modelling, for example. What’s great is that this card also features 9th-gen Nvidia encoders, which greatly improve video quality, exporting speeds, and much more.

Ryzen 7 7700X processor

This processor is a few years old, but it’s still an excellent gaming CPU for the price, which is also not bad for multitasking and multithreaded workloads, like video editing or streaming. It features 8 cores and 16 threads, a big boost clock speed of 5.4Ghz, and a relatively large 32MB L3 cache. While something like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D may be more appropriate for flat-out gaming builds, the inclusion of the Ryzen 7 7700X here keeps the overall build price down well below $2,000, which is very good for something with an RTX 5070 Ti.

Storage and RAM

Pretty standard procedure here with a modest, but still decent, 1TB SSD and a good whack of DDR5 RAM, coming in at 32GB. The storage is going to be enough for a good handful of games, while the RAM is going to help keep everything feeling responsive and snappy, especially when using more demanding creative applications.

Things to consider

The only real thing to consider here is whether you want to go for this CPU or something from Intel’s Core Ultra series, which would be a better option if you’re looking to split your usage between content creation and gaming. Something like the Intel Core Ultra 7-265K would be something with a higher core and thread count, not too expensive, efficient, and cooler running than the 7700X, and with a few bells and whistles, like a dedicated NPU with 13 TOPS. You could also explore some of the 14th-gen Intel options, like the Intel i7-14700K, which is another great pick for content creation and boasts good gaming performance, too.
