What we like about this Skytech Gaming Shadow PC
A great-value graphics card
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is one of the best bang-for-your-buck graphics cards from the Nvidia RTX 50-series. Built on its Blackwell architecture, it has 4608 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, a 128-bit bus, and 2407 base/2572 MHz boost clock. It’s a good option if you’re looking for something for 1440p that won’t break the bank, and it can perform at 4K with a few tweaks and the use of DLSS and MFG to assist.
Versatile Intel processor
This build features the impressive Intel i7-14700F, which is a very well-rounded processor that’s great for gaming, productivity, creative work, and heavy multitasking. It has 20 cores, 28 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, and a large 33MB L3 cache. While it may be lacking the dedicated NPU of some of the Core Ultra alternatives and the massive L3 V-cache of some of the AMD X3D models, it’s a very good processor to have if you’re using this PC for more than just gaming, and an option that doesn’t drive the overall price too high, either.
Decent amount of RAM and a Gen4 SSD
You’ve got 16GB of DDR5 RAM here, which has memory speeds of 5200Mhz, which is not bad. For most people, this should be fine, but if you’re playing games that are heavily modded or large open-world titles, you may want to consider upgrading to 32GB. You’ve also got a Gen4 NVMe SSD, which should be fast enough to help reduce boot and loading times in-game, which can be quite noticeable in-game cutscenes, for example. It’s also big enough for around five AAA games, if you still want some space for other files.

Who should get this deal?
Coming in at $1,386.82, we think this is a very solid option to go for if you’re looking to stick to a budget of under $1500, but want to get as much VRAM as you can for your money. As you can see from the graph above, it’s currently sitting at its lowest ever price on Amazon, making it a great time to go for it if you’re interested. You also may want to explore some of the RX 9070 XT options currently on sale, as we have come across some that are only around $200 more, but offer much better 4K performance, if that’s of interest. How will this PC perform?
For gaming, we can use our RTX 5060 Ti review to give you an idea of what to expect. With Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, we saw it get 147fps at 1080p, 111fps at 1440p, and 56fps at 4K on ultra settings. With Cyberpunk 2077 on the same settings but with ray tracing, it was able to get 52fps at 1080p, 32fps at 1440p, and a pretty lackluster 16fps at 4K. Of course, you can boost these if you start throwing DLSS and MFG into the mix, but overall, it should be able to handle most AAA games at high settings at 1440p very well.
