Excellent ASUS TUF RTX 5050 gaming laptop with 16GB of DDR5 dips to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg
Table of Contents
This ASUS TUF Gaming F16 laptop is now at its lowest price in 30 days over at Newegg, and coming in at $1,119.99. While the discount itself is relatively modest, in terms of general RTX 50-series laptop pricing nowadays, it’s actually pretty competitive given what you’re getting here.
ASUS TUF Gaming F16 16″ Gaming Laptop, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050
The graphics card here is the RTX 5050 mobile, which has 8GB of VRAM and 2,560 CUDA cores, and is a solid option for those who want to game in FHD on the go and have access to some of the latest Blackwell features, like MFG, advanced AI capabilities, and improved ray tracing performance. That’s paired with an Intel Core i7 14650HX, which is where this laptop levels up over cheaper RTX 5050 options. It features a substantial 16 cores and 24 threads, 30MB L3 cache, and 5.2GHz boost clock speed, which essentially gives you excellent gaming performance, alongside adept handling of multitasking and demanding creative workflows.
This laptop’s screen is a FHD+, 165Hz display with 100% sRGB color, which ticks off all the basics very well. With FHD+, you’re getting a little extra vertical screen real estate, and 165Hz is more than enough for fast-paced gaming on the go, without being overkill for the RTX 5050’s capabilities. In terms of RAM and storage, you’ve got 16GB of DDR5 and 512GB. That’s on the basic side, but it’s more than enough if you’re using this primarily for gaming and tend to play a few titles on rotation.
