Are you looking for a solid prebuilt gaming PC? The ASUS ROG G700 was spotted on Amazon with 7% slashed off its price well before the Black Friday gaming PC deals kick off. It had a $2,199 price tag, but with this deal, you can buy it for $2,051.99, which is great when you consider everything it has to offer.
It has the Core Ultra 7 265F and the RTX 5070 to handle its various operations, and this should deliver smooth 1440p gaming and a great working experience. Besides that, it has great aesthetics, and since it is built by ASUS, it should have a robust build quality.
ASUS ROG G700 (2025)
- The RTX 5070 can push games at UHD but with the help of upscaling technologies
- The 265F is great for productivity
- The PC case has a tool-less design for easy maintenance
- The RTX 5070 is good for native 1440p gaming only
- The storage could’ve been better
Why the ASUS ROG G700 caught our eye
The pairing of the Core Ultra 7 265F and the RTX 5070 should complement each other very well becuase both of them are mid-range offerings. The Core Ultra 7 265F is the tuned down version of the Core Ultra 7 265K as it has slower clock speeds and a lower TDP. What this means is that it is more energy efficient and it should be easier to keep it cool but it also has a maximum TDP of 182W, enabling it to tackle demanding applications and workflows.
On the other hand, the RTX 5070 is a great graphics card and while it isn’t the same variant, we’ve reviewd the ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC. So, we’ll showcase how this GPU performed to give you a better idea. If you’re worried that the output would be different due to the OC, you can easily overclock the ASUS Prime RTX 5070 in this gaming PC.
So, taking a look at the graphs above it is clear the 1440p is the sweet spot for this graphics card but it still managed to come close to the 4K 60 FPS mark. However, it certainly required DLSS 4 and MFG to surpass it but these technologies also allowed it to handle more graphically demanding settings.
