Skytech Azure Gaming PC (5700, 5060)

Ryzen 7 5700 3.7 GHz (4.6GHz Turbo), NVIDIA RTX 5060 8GB, 1TB NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR4 RAM 3200, 650W Gold PSU, Wi-Fi, Win 11

What is in this gaming PC?

Ryzen 7 5700

The Ryzen 7 5700 is a mid-range processor from the Ryzen 5000 lineup and is based on the AM4 platform. So, this motherboard should have a compatible chipset, but this processor comes with eight cores, 16 threads, and a 65W TDP. Its cores can run up to 4.6GHz, meaning they can handle 4.6 billion instructions per clock cycle.

This should give this processor a decent processing output, and it should pair well with the RTX 5060, as there shouldn’t be a bottleneck at 1080p. That being said, the productivity should also be good, and various non-gaming workflows should be taken care of smoothly.

RTX 5060 (8GB)

The RTX 5060 (8GB) is the entry-level GPU in the RTX 50-series lineup, and while 8GB is a topic of hot debate among the community, it should be enough for 1080p and 1440p gaming. Besides that, the biggest weapon in its arsenal is DLSS 4 and MFG, which can be used to increase the gaming output. So, even if some titles aren’t running with the best FPS, you can leverage these technologies to have a smooth gaming experience.

We haven’t reviewed this GPU, but we’ll leverage the findings from TechPowerUp. This GPU managed 102, 62, and 28 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K. So, it isn’t surprising to see that it didn’t perform well at 4K, but the FHD and QHD output is pretty decent.

Other hardware

This gaming PC comes with a 1TB NVMe SSD, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, a 650W gold-rated PSU, WiFi capabilities, and Windows 11. So, Skytech Gaming has made sure that every component of this prebuilt PC is perfectly integrated to deliver excellent performance across the board.

Should you get this gaming PC?

For price-conscious buyers who were looking for a gaming PC on a budget, we think this is a great option as it costs slightly more than $1,000. That being said, you will be stuck with the AM4 platform, but there are plenty of processors to upgrade to after the 5700 if you feel like it. The 5900XT was released in 2024, so the AM4 platform is still being supported, and this PC should be more than enough to handle everyday gaming and work.

Besides that, the RTX 5060 has solid 1080p and 1440p gaming performance, and we’ve seen DLSS 4 and MFG work wonders when we reviewed the RTX 5080 and the RTX 5090. Even in titles that the GPU can’t handle natively, these upscaling technologies give it a massive boost in performance.
