- High resolution gaming isn’t possible
Why we liked this gaming PC
This gaming PC has decent hardware, and while these are budget offerings, they should get the job done without any hiccups.
Intel Core i5 13400F
This processor boasts 10 cores and 16 threads. The 10 cores are divided between 6 performance cores and four efficient cores. This dynamic allowed Intel processors to balance performance and efficiency. This CPU also has a maximum of 148 TDP with the boost clock peaking at 4.6 GHz.
So, combined with the RX 9060 XT, you should have a smooth gaming experience at 1080p and even 1440p, while the productivity should be great as well, but keep in mind it isn’t meant for super heavy workloads.
RX 9060 XT
In this gaming PC, you’ll get the 8GB variant of the RX 9060 XT, which should be great for low-resolution gaming. In our RX 9060 XT review roundup, plenty of reviewers tested this card, and it showcased excellent performance. For example, XDA got 114, 72, and 31 FPS at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K in Cyberpunk 2077 while TechSpot reported 118 FPS at 1080p. So, the difference isn’t a lot, but you’ll have to leverage FSR 4 to get more frames in higher resolutions.

That being said, the supporting hardware is also decent in this budget gaming PC as you’ll get 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, a 650W PSU to power everything, and WiFi capabilities. So, there shouldn’t be any issues with this gaming PC, but pushing it to extreme lengths will lead to performance degradation, as this level of hardware isn’t designed for server-level workflows.
Should you get this gaming PC?
If you’re operating on a budget and are looking for a solid option that can easily handle day-to-day tasks, gaming, and low to medium level non-gaming workload. In that case, this is an excellent prebuilt PC to consider. The hardware inside this gaming PC isn’t mind-blowing by any means, but for the price point, we think it should deliver excellent value and keep you running for a good while.
