What we think
The Ryzen 7 7700X is a great mid point CPU for gaming across the board. It won’t bottleneck any GPU no matter the resolution you’re playing out really. It mixes the value and performance in the middle of the pack. Although not quite on the level of the 5800X3D, it does come at a better price instead. Although it does commit you to the AM5 platform so the DDR5 platform comes at a higher price overall although prices are dropping slowly.
