To see what this CPU can deliver, we paired it with the RTX 4070 Ti and ran a bunch of tests. First was gaming, and it delivered 189 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p low settings, which isn’t a huge improvements over the 13600K which delivered 179 FPS. That being said, the Arrow Lake processors aren’t known for their gaming performance but for their productivity.

In the Cinebench R23 multi-core test, this processor scored 22,797 points, while in the Geekbench 6 test, it scored 18,374. For reference, the 13600K and 9600X delivered 16,989 and 14,909 points in the latter test, respectively. That being said, it should be able to handle resource-intensive applications much better.

ASUS TUF Z890-PLUS WiFi

This is a powerful motherboard with a high-end Z890 chipset, meaning it should everything you’ll need to put build a powerful gaming PC and can easily handle even the 285K. It has a 16+1+2+1 VRM design, meaning it can handle the power requirements of the 245K easily.

This deal is excellent for those who want decent performance without having to spend too much money. While there 245K isn’t the best processor out there, we can’t say the same about the ASUS TUF Z890-Plus WiFi mainboard. This motherboard can easily handle the Arrow Lake flagship processor and since it has the LGA 1851 socket, you should be able to upgrade to the next generation of processors Intel releases. Besides that, the 245K has good multi-threaded output and decent gaming performance and if you look at it individually, the gaming performance should be enough to have a stable experience.
