ASRock Challenger Gaming Bundle

Radeon RX 7700 XT 12GB OC Graphics Card + 750W 80 Plus Gold ATX3.1 Power Supply

What is in this bundle?

ASRock Challenger RX 7700 XT

This graphics card has 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a boost clock speed of 2,584 MHz. This GPU isn’t meant for 4K gaming, but it might be able to handle some games like Doom Eternal. That being said, for the best possible output, playing games at 1080p and 1440p is recommended.

We haven’t reviewed this exact variant, but we have tested the Sapphire Pulse RX 7700 XT. This GPU has a boost clock of 2,544 MHz, so it isn’t that different. During testing, this card was able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at 79 FPS at 1440p and Doom Eternal at 94 FPS at 4K. In other titles like Far Cry 6, we got 68 FPS at 4K.

So, while it is able to handle 4K gaming, the output at 1440p will be much better, as that is the sweetspot for this GPU.

ASRock Challenger CL-750G

This power supply unit has an ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 rating, meaning it is set to use with all of the modern GPUs and should be a perfect fit for the accompanying GPU. The RX 7700 XT doesn’t have a high TDP, so even if you pair it with a high-end processor, 750W for that setup should be enough to leave plenty of overhead for overclocking.

Should you get this bundle?

If you’re operating on a budget and want to complete or start your gaming PC build without spending a lot of money, then this bundle is worth considering. For under $500, you’ll get a GPU and a PSU, meaning this bundle has excellent value, and the performance of these components should result in a stable working and gaming experience.
